Are you a liberal? Well, according to this
scholarTea Party person, you are brainwashed. That “Jewish guy,” what’s his name, is funding liberalism and we are all sheep.
But the burning question, the real debate, is whether or not President Obama is homosexual or bisexual. Yes. They are seriously discussing this. Aside from calling him a Muslim, a Kenyan, a pot smoking Socialist, a Communist and a terrorist, he wants to take away your guns and he beats seven-month old fetus babies over the head.
Her news sources? Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and “informative” Tea Party meetings.
Seriously, these people are scary and they vote. These are the folks complaining that Sarah Palin isn’t president.
Watch and weep.

Stop Fox News: Tell FCC To Revoke Broadcast License NOW!

Stop Fox News: Tell FCC To Revoke Broadcast License NOW!

Help us take Fox News off the air—get the FCC to revoke Rupert Murdoch’s broadcast licenses NOW!

The deplorable actions Murdoch has taken to run his News Corp. empire prove we can't trust him to act in the public interest. Now, a study by Farleigh Dickinson University shows Fox News can’t even claim to inform its audience: its viewers are less informed than those who avoid news outlets altogether!

It’s the Federal Communications Commission’s job to consider the character of a media owner when dealing out broadcast licenses, and to label programs as news only when they actually inform viewers. The Murdoch Mafia has failed on both counts, and we have a chance to take them down for good. Save the airwaves from bigotry and corruption: tell the FCC to enforce the law NOW!

FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION: Rupert Murdoch has failed every “character” test available, and the programs under his broadcasting licenses have both been implicated in scandal and have been proven to make audiences less informed, not more. We urge you to revoke Murdoch’s broadcasting licenses immediately, and to take a stand against his corrupt media empire.

Palin, Beck Launch Campaigns for President of Shadow Government

Written by David Neilsen November 20th 2013

fox_hannity_palin_civilwar_120309g
WASHINGTON  – Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and former Fox News host Glenn Beck each launched their 2013 President-in-Waiting campaigns this week at a rally in the nation’s capital. The two Presidential hopefuls were joined by over one hundred people who had gathered in front of the White House to begin what organizers are calling the Second American Revolution to demand that President Obama resign his office.

Reclaim America Now, which organized the event, announced that if he did not relinquish the Presidency by Black Friday (November 29), they would meet in Philadelphia to elect a ‘shadow government.’

“America, I hear your call and I’m ready to stand in your stead as your President once we get rid of that Kenyan over there,” said Palin to the cheering crowd of dozens while pointing towards the White House. “When we gather in Philadelphia, in the great state of Delaware, I will answer the call that I have heard and we will together create a real America from the ashes of the other America that is so great it deserves better!”

“[It’s time] to cleanse the nation of the half-Muslim, anti-white, socialist fraud in the White House before the nation goes under for the final count,” said event organizer and Freedom Watch founder Larry Klayman. “Through the Second American Revolution, we will elect a real President who will be ready to move in to the White House just as soon as we toss out the current occupant and have the place fumigated.”

“In the end [Obama] will feel the force of the American people, just like King George did,” he added to applause.

“Some people will say I shouldn’t be elected Shadow President,” said Beck as he took the stage. “These are the same people who deny that the Founding Fathers were evangelical Christians! Are you going to listen to them? Hell, no! Don’t let somebody else tell you what to do! Vote Beck in 2013!”

Contributing to the convention-like atmosphere was a George Washington impersonator who took the stage to read a revised version of the Declaration of Independence. It demanded, among other things, lower taxes for all U.S. citizens, a physical, original copy of President Obama’s birth certificate, and unqualified support for Israel to launch a preemptive strike against Iran.

“I’m really excited about our slate of amazing Shadow Presidential candidates,” said Klayman. “I’ve even heard that Alan Keyes is considering a run. My only regret is that Ted Cruz is waffling on a bid what with his current gig and all. But we might elect him in absentia anyway.”

Inside the Fox News spin machine: I fact-checked Megyn Kelly on Obamacare

Inside the Fox News spin machine: I fact-checked Megyn Kelly on Obamacare

When a guest said Obamacare made him sell his business, I called him for his full story. It was more complicated

Eric Stern

Inside the Fox News spin machine: I fact-checked Megyn Kelly on Obamacare
Megyn Kelly (Credit: AP/Richard Drew)
Bill Lawrence of Texas recently posted on his Facebook page that he sold his business because of Obamacare.
Naturally, Mr. Lawrence was then invited on Fox News to be interviewed about his ordeal. He was on the Megyn Kelly show a week ago Friday.
Most of Kelly’s questions were fat softballs or in some cases just statements (“Employers like you might just have to say, ‘I’m gettin’ rid of my company!’”; “Your thoughts on having your livelihood directly affected based on what politicians in Washington felt was best for you?”).
I looked up Bill and decided to give him a buzz to learn more. He lives outside of Houston. We spoke for 45 minutes. He’s a guy who’s sort of hard not to like — funny, very sharp and obviously a very good businessman who built a large business from scratch.
Bill recently sold his company Bubbles Car Wash, with 13 locations and 290 employees, to a private equity fund for what he admitted was a tremendous price. “I’ve been very successful,” he acknowledged. (He boasted in a 2011 Houston Business Journal article that he owns two Mercedes and a Bentley convertible.)
With 290 employees, his business would be subject to the Affordable Care Act’s employer mandate that kicks in in 2015 (assuming it isn’t delayed, as it has been once already), which will force companies to offer insurance to workers or else pay a penalty. Bill says it would have run him in the neighborhood of $400,000 annually.
My first question to him was: Would he show me some of his business’s financial records? Maybe an annual report, preferably something audited, so I could analyze his claim about the catastrophic effect Obamacare would have had on his business? He would not.
Did Megyn Kelly request such verification? No, he said, she did not.
I then pressed Bill on whether there were any other reasons he was selling his business. He admitted to me that there were plenty of others (“myriad reasons,” in his words). What were some of them?  “You ever run a business?” he asked with a chuckle. And then he began ticking off a bunch of problems in his life that he said he’d now be glad to be rid of.  The headache of managing workers. Taxes, fees and permits of every shape and size and color (dumpster permits, gate permits, this permit, that permit). He complained to me that he has to pay $300 for an “auto dealer’s” permit just to sell air fresheners at the checkout counter of his car wash centers.
From the sound of it, Gov. Rick Perry is more to blame for Bill’s choice to retire than Obama. Perhaps Texas is not the pro-business eden that Perry portrays it to be.
Nonetheless, Bill insisted that the Affordable Care Act was the “primary” reason he chose to sell out and retire after 22 years. He told me he spent a year attending seminars and seeking advice from lawyers and insurance experts on the employer mandate, and it was universally made clear to him that the new federal law would make it too costly to stay in business.
There’s no questions that Bubbles Car Wash will have to absorb a new cost under the employer mandate. The question is how great it will be, and whether it will impact the business enough to have required Bill to unload it. Although Bill wouldn’t show me any hard financial data, I asked him if he could give me a brief sketch of his company’s revenue. He thought for a while, and then said he’d estimate that the company had around $13 million a year in revenues and about $900,000 in earnings — earnings, meaning post-salary (he wouldn’t tell me what his annual salary had been as an owner of the business).
Bill also told me most of his wage earners do not want health insurance. He’s offered a mini-med program in the past, a very cheap and bare-bones plan that employees could purchase, and they usually decline it. If that’s the case, Bill’s burden will be much smaller than what he told Megyn Kelly. Under the Affordable Care Act, Bill must simply offer his employees a chance to share in the cost of an insurance plan. The worker’s share can legally be as high as 9.5 percent of the worker’s household income. Once Bill has made this offer to an employee, if the employee declines the coverage then Bill is off the hook and doesn’t have to pay a penalty.
And sadly, Bill might be correct that his wage earners (who earn $8.50 to $10 an hour) can’t afford to spend as high as 9.5 percent of their salaries sharing the cost of an insurance plan.
I sent Bill an article from a recent Forbes magazine that shows how businesses of his size, and specifically Texas businesses, will have ample opportunity to keep Obamacare costs very low by strategically offering insurance plans that they know their employees will reject, forcing them onto the individual exchange in some cases. He did not respond.
Incidentally, Bill also told me that the private equity company that bought him out had approached him as early as “three or four years ago,” so he was at least speaking to the buyers before Obamacare ever existed. A spokesperson for the new owner refused to talk to me for this article. Suffice it to say, however, that a private equity firm sees enormous potential in Bubbles Car Wash with or without Obamacare.
In the final analysis, Bill is a strong conservative who believes government has no business saddling him with new costs. He said it would be nice if every citizen could be insured, but “even if the cost were only 10 percent of what I’ve estimated,” he said to me, “why should the federal government make it my responsibility to pay for it?”  (We decided to agree that there is no right or wrong answer to that question, only opinions.)
And as for Megyn Kelly, she asked very few probative questions before or during the interview, preferring instead to just take Bill’s claim about Obamacare at face value. But clearly there was another side of the story.
Special thanks to Bill Bertovich, one of my readers, who tipped me off to the above segment.

Rush Limbaugh Fans Now Literally Crapping Their Pants

Rush Limbaugh Fans Now Literally Crapping Their Pants

by ProgLegs

An unpleasant new affliction is sweeping across the ranks of loyal Rush Limbaugh listeners who are gullible enough to buy the right wing talk show host's apocalyptic view of our nation.
And in true greedy right wing fashion, an opportunistic business has seized upon its chance to capitalize on these unfortunate Dittoheads' misery.
On Tuesday, an alert Flush Rush monitor caught an ad during the Rush Limbaugh broadcast for Butterfly Body Liners, a product designed to protect against "accidental bowel leakage."
Yes, Rush Limbaugh fans are now regularly crapping their pants.
But why?  What is it about the Tea Party darling's inflammatory program that causes people to lose control of their bowels?  And why now?? Rush Limbaugh has always been a skilled fearmongerer.  But his ability to frighten listeners increased exponentially with the election of our country's first African American president.  Limbaugh has convinced his listeners that Obama is tribalizing America, that he's just like Hitler, Stalin, and Mao, and that he may seek a 3rd term as president.
But if the thought of a black president-for-life wasn't enough to send right wingers into a pants-crapping frenzy, the gay marriage issue did it.
Ahead of the Supreme Court's decision on the Defense of Marriage Act, Limbaugh had listeners believing that if gay marriage became legal it would inevitably lead to marriage between people and furniture, unions between people and animals, and even legalized sex with children. And with Hawaii now ready to become the 15th state to allow same-sex marriage, Limbaugh listeners have apparently reached the breaking point and commenced pants soiling.
The only unanswered question here is a sort of a chicken-or-the-egg mystery.  Is the sudden boon for Butterfly Body Liners sales simply fortuitous timing?  Or did Limbaugh have some sort of secret behind-the-scenes deal with the company to scare the shit out of his fans for a cut of the profits?
Well that Depends on who you ask.

George W. Bush to Raise Money for Group That Converts Jews to Bring About Second Coming of Christ

The former president follows in the footsteps of Glenn Beck, who addressed the group last year.

Next week, former President George W. Bush is scheduled to keynote a fundraiser in Irving, Texas, for the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute, a group that trains people in the United States, Israel, and around the world to convince Jews to accept Jesus as the Messiah. The organization's goal: to "restore" Israel and the Jews and bring about about the second coming of Christ.
Messianic Jews have long been controversial for Jews of all major denominations, who object to their proselytizing efforts and their message that salvation by Jesus is consistent with Jewish theology. Last year, Abraham Foxman, president of the Anti-Defamation League, told Politico that former Sen. Rick Santorum's appearance at an event hosted by another Messianic Jewish organization, the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America, was "insensitive and offensive." And Commentary magazine, which bills itself as a "conservative American journal of politics, Judaism, social and cultural issues," noted, "it must be understood that the visceral distaste that the overwhelming majority of Jews have for the Messianics is not to be taken lightly." Many Messianic Jews are Christians who have adopted aspects of Jewish ritual observance; others are Jews who share the Christian belief that Jesus is the Messiah.
Asked about Bush's upcoming appearance at the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute (MJBI) event, Rabbi David Saperstein, the director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, said, "It's disappointing that he would give his stamp of approval to a group whose program is an express effort to convert Jews and not to accept the validity of the Jewish covenant." Foxman was traveling overseas and unavailable to comment.
[Update: After this story published, Rabbi David Wolpe of Los Angeles' Sinai Temple, whom Newsweek has called the most influential rabbi in the country, tweeted, "this is infuriating."]
Advertise on MotherJones.com
Based in Dallas, the MJBI claims that it acts like the Apostle Paul in helping to "educate Christians in their role to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy and thus save some of them (Romans 11:11-14)." It has Bible schools in 12 countries, an online school of "Messianic theology," and programs to train Messianic rabbis and pastors. Its logos feature a star of David and a menorah, and its website promotes the weekly Torah portion, a "Yiddish Mama's Kitchen," and links to purchase Judaica and books, such as Christ in the Old Testament. The nonprofit organization brought in approximately $1.2 million in revenue in 2011, the last year for which records are available.
At the November 14 event, which will be held at the Irving Convention Center, Bush will discuss his White House experiences, according to promotional materials. Bush, the group says, will "share his passion for setting people free." Last year, Glenn Beck was the star of the group's fundraiser, which was held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
This year's event is designed to bring in funds for the group's proselytizing operations. And the former president is helping out with more than just speech-making. The most expensive of the ticket packages, which range from $100 to $100,000, includes 20 invitations to a VIP reception and photo opportunity with Bush, 10 signed copies of Bush's book Decision Points, and passes to tour the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
Alisa Stephenson, MJBI director of events and partner relations, would not say whether Bush is receiving a speaking fee for his appearance. "We cannot have any outside advertising or any media whatsoever involved in this, so I most likely cannot answer any of your questions," she tells Mother Jones.
A spokesman for Bush and a spokeswoman for the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum did not respond to requests for comment.
At last year’s MJBI fundraiser, Beck received a "Defender of Israel" award. During Beck's time as host of his Fox News program (which ended in 2011), hundreds of Jewish leaders denounced his on-air rhetoric as anti-Semitic—particularly his repeated invocation of Nazis and the Holocaust to demonize political adversaries and his accusation that George Soros is a "puppet master" who collaborated with the Nazis. "One of the reasons why I love Israel so much is I'm a guy who's for the underdog," Beck told the audience. "I'm a Mormon, which is kind of the Jew of the Christian world."
Robert Morris, pastor of Gateway Church in Dallas, which Beck attends, introduced Beck as a "prophet" at the event. Morris told the crowd that his church has supported MJBI because "when we do this, the Bible tells us, it's going to change the whole world. That it's going to hasten the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it's going to bring about worldwide revival."
When asked how the MJBI managed to secure Bush to keynote its fundraiser, Stephenson cited its track record of drawing influential speakers, pointing to the appearance by Beck.
At last year's event, members of the MJBI's board of directors explained the organization's mission of converting Jews to an audience of hundreds who were seated on a professional football field, wearing formal clothes, and eating pork barbecue. Rabbi Jonathan Bernis, a leading Messianic Jew and televangelist who chairs MJBI's board of directors, maintained that "our numbers are growing and growing," because "the Bible predicted that the day would come when the blindness would come off the eyes of the people it all began with." He was referring to Jews. The Bible, Bernis continued, "tells us that the day will come when all of Israel will be saved." The MJBI, Bernis said, "is one of the ministries that God has raised up to bring that to pass." Other featured speakers last year included David Barton, the religious right's discredited "historian," who this week used Beck's radio show to announce that he won't challenge Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) in next year's Republican Senate primary.
Another MJBI board member, Rabbi Marty Waldman of Baruch HaShem, a Messianic congregation in Dallas, described his own conversion experience before making a pitch to the audience to donate money to MJBI. Money, he explained, is needed to hasten the return of Jesus. With the funds it collects, Waldman said, MJBI trains "people to preach the good news of the Messiah to the Jewish people." That's important, Waldman noted, because when there are "enough" Jewish people who call Jesus their savior, "some sort of a trigger will go off in heaven, and our father in heaven will say, 'Okay, son, it's time to get your bride.'"
At last year's MJBI event, a group called the Christian Heritage Foundation displayed a collection of Torah scrolls outside the Miller Lite Club at Cowboys Stadium. On the field, a shofar was blown, to applause.

Glenn Beck Has Had Enough: ‘I, Personally, Am Calling To Impeach The President’

By Brian Carey on September 18, 2013 Subscribe to Brian Carey's Feed@brianmcarey

Go big or go home, huh?

glennbeckGlenn Beck is fed up with this President, and he wants him out of office. In fact, he wants President Obama out of office well before January of 2017, when he is scheduled to leave office.
Just yesterday on his own television network, BlazeTV, Beck personally called for the impeachment of President Obama. This is the first time that he has done that.
“I called today for the very first time in my career,” Beck said, “on this President. I, personally, I have said before, ‘That’s impeachable.’ I, personally, am calling to impeach the President of the United States. This is impeachable.”
And what, exactly, does Beck mean by “this”? What is it that President Obama is doing that rises to the constitutionally defined level of “high crimes” and/or “misdemeanors”?
Beck believes that the President should be impeached because he is willing to arm the Syrian rebels. “He is arming known terrorists,” Beck said, “and people like John McCain should be impeached as well.”
John McCain should be impeached? We didn’t see that one coming.
“If you don’t want your vote back,” Beck continued, “what will it take? If you in Arizona said, ‘I voted for John McCain because I thought John McCain was strong on defense and better than the other guy.’ Whatever the deal is, if them saying, ‘We’re going to arm al-Qaeda’ and yes, we know that some of the arms are going to fall into the hands of al-Qaeda… if that’s not an impeachable offense for Lindsey Graham, for John McCain, for John Boehner, for the President of the United States, I don’t know what an impeachable offense is.”
Have a look at the video below.

Media Silent About Beck, Jones Influence On LAX Shooter

Media Silent About Beck, Jones Influence On LAX Shooter

By karoli

Two days ago LAX terminal 3's security was breached by a 23-year old guy with an assault rifle who shot his way past security checkpoints and got all the way to the boarding areas before he was stopped by airport police. As one might have suspected, that 23-year old kid appears to have been heavily influenced by the likes of Glenn Beck and Alex Jones.
SPLC reports that Paul Anthony Ciancia's manifesto "seemed to put him squarely in the conspiracy-minded world of the antigovernment “Patriot” movement." In that same report, they discuss the explosion of these groups in the past few years, and go on to discuss the Patriot movements dim view of the DHS.
So-called Patriots also increasingly see the DHS, which produces intelligence assessments of extremists that are distributed to other law enforcement agencies, as an enemy and even a collaborator in the New World Order conspiracy. Many believe DHS has targeted their movement and is somehow connected to the alleged construction of concentration camps by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The purported camps are thought to be meant for those Americans who resist a coming national seizure of all weapons from U.S. citizens.
Friday's shooting is important on a number of different levels, beginning with the AR-15 Ciancia was able to obtain apparently while living in California, which has some pretty strict state-based laws, including a statewide assault weapons ban. It raises questions about responsibility of high-profile "media" figures like Beck and Jones and begs for a renewed spotlight on our current NRA-controlled national debate over something as simple as universal background checks.
You might think it's a great topic for the Sunday shows. I certainly expected it to be. I went looking to see what the topics of the day are, and to my surprise, there was skeletal coverage (see video above) of the shooting, and no mention whatsoever of the influences on the shooter.
Are Alex Jones and Glenn Beck off limits for criticism now? After all, they're the primary peddlers of the anti-government, paranoid thinking so prevalent among anti-government nuts. There is a reality to what they do, after all. Call the government evil and invasive often enough, concoct enough scenarios of how "government" is the amorphous scary bogeyman aiming at innocents everywhere, toss in some NSA paranoia and libertarian claptrap and you get a guy with an assault weapon not just shooting people outside the security checkpoint, but targeting unarmed government agents because he can.
Why isn't this something to discuss? Why shouldn't the libertarian "I hate government set" represented by Beck and Jones be accountable for reaching into someone's darkest fears and stoking them?
Arming the TSA or attributing this to a 'lone wolf' isn't the answer. From what I've read, Ciancia wasn't mentally ill. He may have suffered from depression or anxiety, but not to a point where he left reality. No, that happened when these maniacs on TV and radio started talking about One World Order, Agenda 21 and the gold standard.
Evidently that's too weighty for the delicate ears and eyes of the Sunday show viewer. After all, why talk about paranoid maniacs and dead public servants when you've got Obamacare to kick around?
